Actually....you don't need to worry about it at all !!! Don't bother checking in on the thread or watching any of the weather updates. Just enjoy yourself in Never-Never land. Byeeeee....

There is a low pressure building in the Pacific that will likely come straight across the Viscyans and rapidly move towards the western AOR. Does not look horrible at this time but worth watching.

Or have your Luftwaffe cap pulled too far down over your eyes. A lot of the Yolanda casualties could have been prevented had more people watched what was happening. Thanks for posting about this

It's a tropical depression, not a typhoon.

Today's picture.

11 AM (Monday) Pagasa update just released

http://bagong.pagasa.dost.gov.ph/tropical-cyclone/severe-weather-bulletin

Signal #1 already up for quite a few areas so there will be a significant number of boat and school cancellations.

And Cebu probably will be included in the next update at 5 PM.

"Possible raising of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal #1 over Biliran, Cebu, Siquijor and Negros Provinces in the next severe weather bulletin."

Looks like Samuel is making a little jump north then back down. Will probably graze Siargao, hit Ormoc then curl south to Cebu.

And another Beastie forming. this one looks very much like the same area that Yolanda formed, just above the equator and quite a way east

The chance that it will get even close to Philippines is about nil

That site you constantly link to has very limited information

I would say it is useless

3 am here in Baybay and raining again ... from Windy looks like we are right in the middle - maybe no water later.
