I've just discovered this site    https://philconprices.com/

Lots of up-to-date (2018) pricing for a wide range of building materials.

Very informative!

Not sure how accurate it is and a lot depends on your location.  It's good for a wag but the price at the store you go to is the price.

True!

Prices are usually variable/negotiable when you get serious about costing a build.

But if you are just getting an estimate for various building options, this is a handy site to check many alternatives without having to spend a lot of time googling lots of other sites (many of which don't give you useful pricing information) - a big time saver!

Well, in Cebu I just go to Vic Enterprises (for cement and steel, PVC) which is now in Mandaue because Tommy ran them out of Mabolo.  They supply most of the small HWs around the island.  They will delivery whatever I want for free as long as at least 50 bags of cement (last I bought it was about p150/bag) is part of the order.  I'll try to post their prices when I order again.

Good thinking1

Specialist suppliers tend to be are hard to beat on pricing.

Plus, they have the advantage of knowing what they are talking about - it's their game! - Avoids the frustration of trying to explain what you want to someone who knows nothing about the products they sell.

Thanks!

"Every day - something new"

Now I have found out that big" load spreading" washers with small holes are called "fender washers"

Used them many times - never knew that they were called "fender washers".

thanks1

Lol!

I once saw a similar sign on a restaurant "closed for lunch"

Unfortunately, that was in the pre-smart-phone era and I didn't have a camera.
