The Philippines is home to the world's finest fried chicken.

My MIL & SIL both make absolutely the best, crispy and spicy as hell. Restaurant like Jolibee and KFC are delicious and even on the streets it's delicious.

Best part is that white meat is readily available.

I never go down into Angleles City that I don't stop on the way home at a certain street vendor and grab some fried chicken for later.. It is by far the best I have ever had.

Those poor chickens that live in horrible conditions just so you guys can eat them. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Just kidding..I love eating chicken. Brought a KFC bucket home today.

I can't eat Jolly-Bee or KFC chicken...even though I like them both. I have some kind of reaction to MSG and it gives me a wicked headache and keeps me awake at night with leg twitches and weird body intensities. ...I had to convince my g/f to leave off the Magic Sarap because that is basically all that is.

Well I'm glad I've found someone with the same problem.I thought i was going mad . No issues with my Mrs but me WOW......
I love Jollybee but 30 minutes or so after I'm nearly asleep. No MSG, in our house. I've suspected it for years but 100% confirmed now..

We are getting a little off topic here.

The topic is Great Food . Surely there are those who consider  KFC and Jolly-Bee to fit into that category ?

Not in Jolibee it's not. "only drumstick and rib part, sir"
FYI, ribpart is breasticus aka white meat.

I NEVER get a leg because if they only have legs I go elsewhere.

That only happened once so far.

Last week I got a 6 pc spicy bucket, all wings and breasts.

Makes sense, but ask if they have breast part:  "No, only rib part, sir"

Have you been in the Philippines, breasts are very rare.

At the KFC here I request leg pieces. Then they correct me and say leg parts sir? I reply OO and I always get them.

Mmmmmmm rare chicken.  I don't think so.

Fried chicken is both delicious and politically correct for those of us who are socially-minded when making our food choices.
