I wonder why my building needed only a fire extinguisher and yours needs 2 fire hose cabinets.  Is there a real regulatory requirement for this?  Where does it come from?  anyone here know?

Ours was a two story building which we added two more floors too.. So 3rd and 4th both require a 50ft fire hose and wall cabinet connected to a 1.5 inch metal pipe to ground floor with connection on it ready for fire truck hose.

Lastly..  what's your water source..  do you have good pressure?  would be a complete waste of time out here in Tuburan for ANYONE in town to put in a firehose on the water supply.

The 1.5 inch pipe is for the fire water truck to pump the water they bring with them to the fire hoses we have to install on the upper floors.. Hope that makes sense.

Another 5K to the Fireman Inspectors fund should seal the deal

We are in the process of getting another quote now..
There are only 3 fire equipment offices here.. We bought some 3 kilo extinguishers from one of them but during inspection they told us to change the 4 we bought to just one X 5Kg.. We took them back and changed them with a cash refund..On the way back we get a call from the Municipal fire dept.. They know we took them back as the outlet owner called them!!
They suspected us of buying the units for the inspection only with the intention to return them after!!
People must really do that here!

I was a Marine Inspector. Part of my job was to inspect fire fighting equipment during the annual inspection. We discovered a company that would bring the same fire extinguishers to each of it's different vessels for inspection. There were only 2-5 fire extinguishers required for a vessel, so it wasn't difficult for them to change them out and then change them back after the inspection. In fact we discovered different companies doing similar things with life saving equipment.

Got new quote and contract signed from an accredited outlet which is what we need for occupancy application.. 80K all in and fitted.
The owner of the business told us that fireman scam gets a percentage of total quote.
Whatever!!
