Not a comprehensive review, just a personal experience....

Had to visit (my first) to see a GP for prescription.

Building was probably quite impressive when new except the access road is a cattle track.

On arrival venders on steps selling corn, WHY, its a hospital. Ask guard, See reception, Follow corridor, very dark, unwelcoming environment.

Go to second floor, still no lights, Find GP area. No one to help, wife asks, Two doctors on duty....

Room 201 or 215 (i think)..

I pick a room, Ah, it has a receptionist,

No problem come in, fill out form,

Wait only 5 mins, Come in please.

Well this is the good part.

Lady Dr, Dr Mendez. Mid 40,s????.

A breath of fresh air. Perfect English, bubbly and talkative. Said been to US and Japan, Europe, on medical matters. Just returned from Iloilo from diabetics conference.

Done all the usual checks, filled out prescription,

She noted i wear a support stocking on leg.

Why

Varicose ulcers.

How long

20 years off and on

Gave me instructions on how to care,

COMPLETELY different from Australia.DO NOT use Betadine,

Wash In special soap, that's available over counter in Watsons

Have seen improvements already.

Now things go downhill.

Told wife ill go to Cr.

Didn't have to ask, turn corner, and smell.

Well no door on mens, urinals in full view, (who cares at my age)..

The smell

The plumbing

Couldn't get out quick enough.

So there we go......

Walk back to SM..
