Stereo/Hifi

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

Does anyone know if there is a dedicated stereo /hi-fi shop in Cebu.

I need an amp/cd player, or dvd will do the lot.and speakers.

I'm an old equipment fan having had Marantz, Sansui, Early Pioneer in Australia over the years.I even love valve/tube stuff which is making a return to enthusiasts.

Ive found "some offerings" in SM and have seen some Chinese stuff in Sm Supermarket. Doesn't look too bad for price considering the features.

The problem I've found is the sale's people are not much help technically.

Or course Lazada is an option for no name Chinese stuff.

Anyway thanks.

Well no i don't want to go back that far. Although i do go back as far as valve/tube amps. (lovely tone)

Just something like ENUFF has suggested.

I just wondered if there was a shop in Cebu that specialized in amps, speakers etc.(as i am an enthusiast). Someone that one can speak to on a technical level and maybe has a retail shop However,
I will probably now go down the Lazada road due to ease of logistics.

There's Classic Hi Fi in Ayala and Soundroom in SM City. They're sister companies.

You could also look for The Listening Room on fb, they're located in SM Megamall, but they ship to the provinces.

When i checked in a couple of days later i had about 20 woman was wanting to be my "friend".Jeeeez, I NOW know that it was due to incorrect settings but try to explain that to my wife who is not computer literate........

Marantz

I am still using and old Marantz 2270. Have 2 older Pioneer turntables/speakers. The speakers are CSR-700's.

Make sure you have a device to connect to the internet at the mall. When in those shops check their price verses Lazada before your purchase.

Yes very good point,
I'm in no rush accualy, Final sign off (and access) to the house is hopefully next week. This stereo project is not high on the list of bigger things.
Coincidently i bought a pocket WIFI yesterday as my Aussie one wouldn't Cooperate. Tried Globe sim, Nah,
I should really stop thinking of the old days and buy something modern.
I mean for p4000 on Lazada one can get every feature possible.
