In my experience students need to be watching less tv not more !!! Lol

Actually TV is a prime education resource in most countries these days (despite our misgivings) allowing students anywhere to be taught by qualified teachers.  But admit do not know status in Philippines.  It is not all my favorate

Woolf gave me the idea to use as laptop monitor - have requested it if still available

If I do  get it and doesn't work out I'll "regift" it

@lamoe

If you want to use a 32" tv as a computer monitor make sure it is a full  HD tv  1920 x 1080 pixels , a HD ready tv is 1280 x 720 pixels

the 1280 x 720 is not good for computer monitor, not so nice to look at

Wasn't sure - hence the  regift mention.

My laptop have a 15" screen, it  also have 2 video outputs, 1 HDMI and 1 VGA

I have a 32" tv on the HDMI port and a 24" monitor on the VGA port

laptop screen used for e_mail, 32 " used for normal pc work things

the 24" mostly used for internet tv like news and watching formula 1

all are 1920 x 1080

that is my setup here in denmark
