Apparently the club has been asked by SM to supply models for a static display starting this June 15. There will be a fairly broard coverage from drones, helis to fun fly, scale etc.

If you are visiting, keep an eye out.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the helis - I have a ~14" coaxial, a 30" 3D, and a TRex450 clone. Keeping them airworthy is not yet a skill I've mastered though.

Thanks to Woolf.

First pic is the entrance road/ track to the site.

Second pic is the general area.

Third pic, its the left hand block of tarmac in front of the church.

Weather permitting I do plan on being there this Sunday

Will bring both drone and kites - rigid and parafoil

If anyone would like to try  flying them feel free to come out.

Only one battery for drone so limited flying time

Nice thing about all three is that if you feel uncomfortable just let go - no harm done

Kites may fly a small distance but crashing is no biggie because they flutter down not like an RC plane.

As mentioned earlier, the club held a brief display in SM seaside for Fathers day. A couple of pics from Sunday.

No, went to their website - copied and pasted - didn't call

The one across from Seaside had a barrier , not just chain, across entrance last time I looked.

I just copied and pasted from their website

Last time I was at Seaside there was a metal barrier across entrance - haven't been down that road since - use CSCR - quicker

http://www.geocities.ws/ceburca/getting_started.htm  I see now - last updated 2001 :oldtimer:

Cebu Aeromodelers Club, Inc. gets no hits on Google
