Tomorrow we break ground on our final project, the upgraded laundry area with tiles connecting the dirty kitchen, sala and laundry.

Do you have a plan drawing to show us too ?

No, never did one. We were planning to have BIL in Malaysia do one but contractor broke free for we and we pounced on the opportunity.

Day 1 progress

Separating wall for sari-sari & pisonet cafe 90% done.

Trench drain in front of sala 100% done. Contractor will cover with angle bar and round bar, creating a grate.

Not bad considering yesterday was about 95% rain.

Are you roofing over the laundry?

And off topic but I love your dog's ears....looks like he's ready to take off!

Yes, roof with gutter and a ceiling fan with light (only because it was in the store and with the divider wall it needed to go)

Maybe swing by in the next week or 2 and you can take him with you. Don't like him I got 7 others to choose from.

Day 2 update.

Separating metal fence for sari-sari & pisonet complete minus paint. Still have 6 outlets and a light to install.

Drainage grate and major tiling project is farm near complete. Instead of a 6" step we discussed this morning about a 6" drop over about 8' to feed into the new drain. I agreed it was best mainly to make sure there will be no standing water or the new tiles.

4 days left and they probably will finish early in saturday, just in time for me to feed them, get them drunk and listen to me sing karaoke all night.c7cd51fda1b5f64c2872fed626695ff9.jpg&key=ab10a0e48e3cfbb1660da25446cc25b7bf41700769088df134634c11c3373ccf7925e2fb20147caefcb73fe12f7dc170.jpg&key=1db83959fd9e0423152c9667c4a08301881680111afc575210196a38a72631124b1f4f14203a90be3e2d6b00126cb035.jpg&key=73f8a306ecce8a3ad43d8842b6d45fccdb285f020d07922a1df08dc35fc64ff2

I have zero presence

I gave Lola p30k to disperse as needed

I give a little insight in the morning then off to cebu searching for dumb items like graphics cards for the pisonet PCs.

They only have this week as they are halfway through building the house next to us. Only took a break to fire, aka don't need, 2 workers.

Day 3 update

Tiling from main area to laundry completed

Side support wall for laundry area roof almost complete

Cutting through the concrete wall to install 6 outlets almost complete.

Lots of welding yesterday. Also had 1 cu sand and 4 bags cement delvered, which means about 2 hours of carrying for 2 of the 4 workers.

3 full days left. We are certain the roof won't be 100% as we will order to size after the frame is completed but they can install in a few hours since they will be next door 3c29cee0184bd014df3bf4c3407a8aca.jpga6b10981e66781aff64dcefdf1bc92bc.jpgc9ba5d78a8437cbd3ec58d7cc6a38b7d.jpg

Day 4

Ordered metal roofing & gutter yesterday. Will be delivered saturday, hopefully morning.

Everything else moving along. Looks like most of the metalwork is complete. Working on plumbing, electric and adding to the wall to cover back of the roof add-on.abc862ab90925a572a1f23a5e17387c1.jpg116da6e53d01e24efb7bd44dff5712ae.jpg341c9adbaf7930c6a519f11e85fed5c3.jpg1bbaf38065e8efa1415ab9ae006f76da.jpg

Project complete

1st pic - laundry area
2nd pic - new tiled area
3rd pic - pisonet entry
4th pic - pisonet
5th pic - add on tiled area
6th-8th pics - sala (3 yrs old now)

The add on tile area is a bit shitty but I only requested after realizing we had 2 boxes of tile left over. Rather than add on the elevated and did some half ads pattern. Oh well, I only added p1000 for the extra work.

Total build cost was p36000 labor and p45000, not too bad for p81000 or $1551 usd
