Motorcycling in the Philippines

I went out this afternoon to snap photos of 2 of the ruso chariots here that owners want to do landtours with. I had a nice chat with one of the owners. The blue chariot cost 103k as is--i.e., it came from the dealer this way. The red one cost 97k plain and the owner then put 13k in the rest. He said they are built to pull and not fly down the road, but it can do 65-70 kph without feeling dangerous; but on hwy, he drives 50. Says he hits 5th gear from 25-30. I did have a photo of him talking to me with photo of rear of red chariot...but then I just noticed all of the cases of beer and empty liquor bottles lining the fence, so maybe anonymity is better on this forum...lol

I have a blue one as in your pic. Roger 50kph is more comfortable; very stiff suspension.  The ride is more comport able with weight in the rear end. Fun to drive!

Note- paid 100k for mine.

Noice ......for a scooter. Don't expect to see too many in traffic tho - kinda pricey :)

https://www.topgear.com.ph/moto-sapiens/motorcycle-news/italjet-dragster-200-ph-price-a959-20191127

It’s official: PH price of Italjet Dragster 200 set at P360,000

All units arriving in May 2020 are 100% made in Italy

.............................."

With its unconventional, space-shuttle-inspired look, the Dragster rocked the universe upon its reintroduction at the 2018 EICMA motorcycle show. In a previous interview with Moto Sapiens, Italjet CEO Massimo Tartarini disclosed that the Dragster will enter production by March 2020 as it still has to undergo some finishing touches.

Ted Alberto of Access Plus says the initial Dragster units to arrive here will be equipped with a 200cc DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 19.8hp at 8,250rpm and 17Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. Sorry, guys, no 125cc variants yet." ......................................

We had Xmas party in Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden this weekend.

Nice to be around local people and having fun,

Dr. Emilio Osmeña Botanical Garden. entrance fee 100, Wooden "tent" 200 (24h)

So if you take your plan to take your Wife/GF/lover to Cebu tops Busay then its nice to combine this. and it only going to be 400peso for 24h in Dr. Emilio.  Nice trip when you have a MC
