The Psychological Impact of Our Clothing

Fashion is just another industry con job. I wear basically the same "style" of clothes as I did 40 years ago. Jeans, T-shirt or collared shirt for fancy, boots. If anyone judges by clothes, they are instantly worthless to me and are dismissed.

I enjoy spending the day in my undies.. quite comfy and much less laundry..

Damn...after all my years here in the North Georgia mountains, and finally rounding out my entire wardrobe with all camo, plus accessories.....CRAP it all, I give up!

That's why I dress like a dirt bag but they still think I'm rich.

I have seen similar posts in all types of forums. It comes down to people that don’t care how they dress saying they don’t care what others think and those that put an effort to dress well defending why it matters. Then a big circle.

In the Philippines it is too hot and dirty and too casual to try very hard, even for those that might want to. (imo)

I dont own any clothes that are not at least ten years old, but when I did buy them I bought quality stuff and it still looks like new....it Im just in the province, or around the house, shorts, t shirt and flip flops, If Im out doing business, long pants, button up shirt....if Im out at a bar, jeans, collared nit shirt...or nice t shirt...been dressing that way for fifty years and dont think Ill change now...last night a girl commented on what a nice leather jacket I had on, hell its 30 years old...

Levity my good man - levity !! :P

I was levitating - now you know why I don't do sarcasm

But it does make it very easy to be believed when I'm not telling the truth - except to Charity

I've actually changed the cut of what I wear - they don't make skinny jeans with a 44" waist and 31" inseam

32 x 31 they do - don't have to worry about pickpockets

Is that like when your face and stomach are paralysed from too much laughter?
