There is a travel company in SM City that does these. Can't think of the name but if you are at the food court and take the escalator up, I believe 1 floor and turn left. Go past the restaurants and it's in the corner.

Been watching on the news that there is a huge delay for new Passports but I think they said renewals was not so bad.

Is she going somewhere soon?  If not, why bother?

I simply let the travel agent work on this, just show up for picture.

Destination Specialists in SM City Mall. We use them for anything where you have to deal with DFA. They do all of the leg work, set up the appointment, and eliminate all of the hassles for a few hundred pesos. Well worth it in my opinion.

Does it make any difference to the process if the passport has already expired by a couple of months

Unless there’s been a change, an expired passport is just that, expired.  Renewing it is done the same as an unexpired in my experience.  Of course, this is assuming the individual is here.  If in another country and using the passport for that travel may be different.

My GF did her passport last month in Davao,

go here          https://www.passport.gov.ph/appointment

tick the box next to "I have read and understood the instructions and information on this page, xxx"
click on "START INDIVIDUAL APPOINTMENT" button
click the Ok on the popup,

select your Region / Country / City
Click "NEXT"

on the shown calendar, you can change months with the  >>  arrow next to the name of the month at the top of the calendar

the red 'days' show all booking are full, green days shows bookings are available

with my GF they were all booked out, so she contacted a 'travel agent' who got her a booking
it seems there is a big scam with people booking out the schedule, and then on selling these to people who need them,

cost my GF P1,000 i believe

I hope this helps

Nigel

Yep

Went online - stops at July - actually went to DFA - never been to Pacific Mall before - she wanted to save me money

Go up to attendant

"We would like to schedule an appointment"

"Go online"

"we did - no appointments until past July - can we apply here?"

"Go online"

"We did , no appointments, was advised to come in person"

"Go online" - stop bothering me - do you actually expect me to be of any help  - look on his face
