i grew up on levy's rye bread. can't find that stuff down here so i bought some caraway seeds so i could try using them in other ways.

didn't wanna make bread

ground them up and used them as a rub on a smoked corned beef yesterday.. sliced today.. wonderful.. really gets that rye aroma and taste in to the beef and sliced thin makes awesome sandwiches. especially with a little brown mustard

also tried mixing some in with some ground beef with a little salt it really makes for a great hamburger .. you get the rye taste but it also seems to buff up the beef flavor

I put caraway seed in my sauerkraut along with a little dark brown sugar and a tad of honey.  Yummy.  Happy New Year All.
