Used Book Stores in Cebu

Recommended Posts

I've been to the main ones in the malls and Robinsons down at Funentes.

Any other book shops that might have some random selections of various interests around?

The stationary department in Pacific mall has some.  As does the Travellers restaurant in J Mall, I didn't ask but it's probably bring one take one, lamoe might know.

There is quite a large selection of 2nd hand books in Metro Store 4/F in Ayala, also in the Book section in Gaisano Country Mall Department Store G/F.

I get a lot of books at Gaisano Country Mall Dept Store. A good selection and very reasonable price for the most part.

I've checked out most of the above and found very little interesting book woth.  But that is part of the fun  of it, searching in the abyss of used books to find something of interest.

I haven't checked out the Gaisano Country Mall one, I'll have a look in a couple weeks.

There was a specialist used book store on H.Cortes.  The owner featured in a Sunstar article as I recall.  I think it was on the section between A.S.Fortuna and F.Cabahug, left side going up towards A.S.Fortuna.  Really not sure if it's still there as I haven't been along that section of road for quite a while.

Unfortunately it has been closed or moved elsewhere for some time now.
