Premiums for Philhealth

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have experience with Philhealth?  I have asked two different Filipinas I know of, and they both told me, their contribution is 200 pesos monthly. The wife tells me she needs 2,800 pesos a month for Philhealth, and she is including SSS and GSS in the contribution. I find this excessive..am I wrong?

Philhealth is 200 per month. If she is paying the maximum SSS contributions every month it is 1,760. Did you mean GSIS instead of GSS?  I was under the impression GSIS was for government employees.

The OP says he lives in California and that the info is for his wife so I think the new rates for foreigners is not really relevant to his situation.
