Changed password and it changed my username

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm setting up a new laptop and forgot my password for linc, changed it and it seems that it assigned me an old user name that I haven't used in forever.  Any ideas how to fix that?

Thanks,

Streak

It looks like you have two user accounts.

steak03 account is still there. http://www.livingincebuforums.com/profile/4754-streak03/

What probably happened is that you accidently created a new account.

Only Paul can do that, but once a member has actively posted he does not delete accounts.

Just don't use the new account any longer.

I see you're logged in now with Streak03. You can always logout and then log back in, but don't fill in the password. Select that you forgot your password and follow the prompt...

Yeah, dont use the Afghanblast name. It sounds like you have  a blast when in Afghanistan.

My guess is you have 2 email accounts and created one member name using each.  When you recovered your password you used the wrong email account that was associated with the older member name?
