Recommended Posts

To start off, My pleasure is Beer Na Beer at about $1 liter and in a month I spend about P4000 but I tend to share that with guests.. I also make a version of Bailey's Irish Creme with local ingredients.

So whats your pleasure?

I too love a good beer but indulge more modestly these days. Budget? Not really...I tend to buy the beer I want, in the quantity I want, when I want. If I get my nose in it too deep one night, I pay for it the next day or two so I tend to drink only 2-3 times a week depending on the company.

I am however interested in you recipe for Bailey's?

My version of Bailey's

1 liter of milk (it can be fresh or powdered like Alaska brand)

1 Jr size bottle Tanduay Rum

1 can small can Condensada (sweetened condensed milk)

1 Nescafe coffee stick

Pinch of cinnamon

Half a teaspoon of vanilla flavoring

Mix thoroughly and chill for at least 30 minutes

At first you don’t notice the alcohol but it will catch up to you.

You can also substitute the coffee stick with your favorite liquid flavoring such as ube, strawberry or mango

Ok so its not exactly Bailey’s but after you taste this you wont care. Ive never had complaints from guests.

Ummmm....I think I'll stick to Bailey's. But thanks!!! I'll add a little more booze and less fluff, pour it in my empty Bailey's bottles and give the stuff to the relatives for Christmas! They'll never know!

I drink some beers.. I like a decent sour mash sometimes..I found a good deal on Stoley's vodka here and with the heat I am liking that alot chilled in the freezer on ice with calamansi .. as far as beer it depends on the day.. I will on occasion buy "imports"... but when I am thirsty.. a SM lite really cold works good for me..

Here is annother recipe I posted in 2008, similar to @State Trooper's.

Leg Spreader

I used to drink pretty heavily. But, nowadays I rarely drink beer. About one or two nights per month, I will have a few Jack & Cokes.

The only thing good about the trip to Subic, plentiful Jack and coke

Mine is generally P6500 a month, SML. About 2 six packs or less is drank by others.

If we have a party and beer will be served to guest, they get regular family sized SM.

My beer budget is ZERO. If you want a beer at my house, it is strictly BYOB.

About 50 pesos per month. I drink one or two a year, but mostly use SM for cooking.

Same here. We are non-drinkers. Now, I'll admit that I wasn't always that way, when I was young I drank enough to float a battle ship out of drydock :P Been sober for 33 years now.
