Hi,

Sorry if this has been hashed and rehashed.....

I'm heading back to Los Angeles and I wonder if I can take back some Food items from Pinas back to USA.

Also, can I take back some Efficascent Linament, etc back to USA....?

thanks,

I don't want to get in trouble from Customs......

No raw meats, only dried. Just declare what you have. They will keep what isn't allowed.

Spam Tocino not available in Guam/Hawaii, not the Filipino stores we go to anyway... It's packed in the US, USDA approved (ones we buy from Robinsons but check the label to ensure USDA approved) and Filipino kids love them!

Do not carry them in your carry-on, they (NAIA security) confiscate them as they say you could use that easy-to-pull-tab could be used as a knife... I never thought I could defend myself with a spam can! :D But that's what they say (they open the can and discard it right there to show that they are not going to eat it later :D)) So put them in your check-n luggage... :)

Just a souvenir idea... :D

I typically take back about 100 packs of the hot chili pancit canton as my friends love it and it's not available. I also take back 2 cartons of cigarettes and 1 bottle of whiskey in each piece of luggage. Had no issues with any packaged foods.

Going to LA you won't get any fruit there unless it's dried/packaged.
