Had a good rest staying on the beach for 2000php a night. Places for as cheap as 400 are available. My brother in law did most of the cooking so we saved quite a bit that way. Weather changed sooner than expected with last storm that went through so we cut the trip short.- 16 replies

Looking for a 1+ month rental this summer - condo or apratment

We're looking for a rental this summer (July/August) ... probably 4 or 5 weeks. We're interested in a condo or apartment in Cebu city. Would love to have a lap pool and gym at least nearby. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Peter -
First Trip Questions- need local help!

We are arriving in Cebu city in mid February and are renting a home, for 14 days, in Sogod near the resort. We are not sure if it's better to rent a car or hire a driver. None of us have ever driven in a region like this before, and I am unsure if it's safe. Our arrival time is 11:45 pm. There are 6 of us. My other questions are: 1. Where can I get cell phones to be able to call the U.S. and to keep in contact with each other while we are there? Verizon is very expensive. 2. We are all active people who will want to hike, explore, and maybe have a few boating excursions. What are some
