SailfishBay posted a topic in Boating, Swimming, Diving, & Fishing In The PhilippinesWe are now ready and prepared for the coming winter season starting now October 1st and hopefully we will continue to fish through the coming months if the weather prevails , the Marlin season just gone was a let down concerning the numbers caught around the island , but when they showed they were huge fish , the season produced some amazing big fish compared to last year with the biggest being 300 kg on a hand line in may , to the last Marlin known this year caught last month of 90kg by Dave Sharpe , we were stripped twice of all the line on express trains , so hopefully the coming season will produce great fishing , the tuna are hear in numbers right now with night fishing producing the goods , so look lout for the dark moon phases and first and last quarter being the better options for coming , the Mahi Mahi are now showing which is a good sign , and hopefully as we progress through the months the Wahoo and Tanigi will show in December , still the odd Sailfish showing in the markets , but with no one really fishing for them it is hard to say if they are still in numbers , lets see how the Tuna season goes and i will update as we go through if my internet connection allows me ! See you all soon and hopefully on the boat , if you have any questions feel free to ask .
