I got this message. I use one drive to store pictures onlin rather than taking up space on my phone and to store documents I may need access to. It's very convenient and up to now free. Is there any alternatives. Important changes to OneDrive We want to inform you about some upcoming changes to OneDrive that will affect you. In approximately 90 days, the amount of storage that comes with OneDrive will change from 15 GB to 5 GB. We are also discontinuing the 15 GB camera roll bonus. As a result of these changes, you will be over your OneDrive storage limit on 29/06/2016 (visit the Storage page to check your account). You can learn more by taking a look at our FAQs. To ease this transition, claim a free one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal.* This subscription includes 1 TB of OneDrive storage. Alternatively, you can purchase additional storage,** or choose to remove some files. We realise these are big changes to a service you rely on. We want to apologise for any frustration they may cause you. We've made a difficult decision, but it's one that will let us sustainably operate OneDrive into the future. Thank you for using OneDrive. – The OneDrive Team
I currently have a little over 1,000 files in one folder on Copy.com. They sent me a nasty gram not too long ago, stating I had a virus, or other infection, that was detected by multiple means. <cough> bullshit </cough>. Look at the date as to how long the damned files have been on their cloud storage. I guess they missed that infection for a long time. Now, this (just under) 10 gigs of storage needs to be put elsewhere, so people can access the files. At the moment, I am uploading them (split) on to two other clouds (Dropbox and Google Drive), but only for a temporary fix. I need something more permanent. In fact, I have a total of 57 gigs on Copy.com, and about 5 gigs on Dropbox, at the moment. So, anyone know where I may find some (preferably free / cheap) online storage? Don't want to change from Copy. But, I am waiting for their Support team to contact me back - if they ever do. EDIT: Oh, I scanned the same folders, which are synced on my computer, with not one, not two, but three different ways: 1. Norton Security 2. Spybot Search & Destroy 3. MalwareBytes There is no infection in those folders, anywhere. Just 1021 PDF files waiting to be viewed by others.
