Actually I experienced that the fastest way to get to a place is using Waze. It works unbelievable accurate. It gives me most of the time the travel time within 5min accuaracy, no matter what the traffic situation is. It can estimate the traffic better than anything else I have experienced. On top of that it you learn new streets and shortcuts. It guides you through routes around the traffic better than the best driver in Cebu could do (of course it "knows" the traffic situation and finds the fastest route).

Just read that next year between 9pm and 5am all Mybus rides in Cebu will be free. At 25php, if I remember right, its cheap enough already. But handy I suppose if you arrive / are up and about in that timeframe.

Hi Folks, Just read about this on Sugbo.ph 25PHP fare with 30 minutes trip time from Mactan Wharf to Cebu pier 3 by boat. Would be really handy way to dodge the traffic if it runs well. Arrived at immigration and mentioned that I wanted to get the VUA extension. The immigration officer showed me to a little office. After a short time he reappeared and asked me for 2700 pesos. No paperwork to fill in, no photograph requested. I then left the office with my passport and official receipt and got the passport stamped at the usual cubicles, without having to queue. Hey! I heard recently that Maribago Bluewater has a decently priced yearly membership to use their facilities. Something like P7500/year or similar, which also includes 1 free night stay in any of their resorts. Plus discounts on the menu (like 50%?) Does anyone know other resorts with similar memberships? Links with more info would be great! Couldn't find much on Google unfortunately. Looking primarily at resorts that are clue by Bluewater, perhaps Plantation bay would work too, White Sands etc. Thankful for any advice/info!

Will a new traffic signal system arrive in Lapu-lapu City/Mactan?

Good day people, I've been living in Lapu-lapu City since birth. I believe one of the bad reputations (continually) of my city I've lived in for long is the busted traffic lights. It has been during my early-mid elementary years that I can recall that they were still functioning, though based on videos' screenshots I've saw on YouTube, they were around the time of ASEAN summit. Often I suspect (also through other forums and people's posts/thoughts) it has not been either asserted or heard well, particularly by DOTC, MPTC, MCDC, DPWH, and of course, Lapu-lapu City. Where's the concern? -
Hi I'm looking for a house to rent in Mactan, if anybody knows something please post. Also, if you know some nice clean and quiet areas or subdivisions or have other suggestions where to go or look please let me know. Budget PHP30,000 maximum 3 BR minimum Furnished or unfurnished Time frame: It can be available right away or in 2 months. Long-term. Some bigger lot would be nice but I know it's hardly available. I want to go deep sea fishing. Does anyone know a good outfit that provides deep sea fishing trips? How often do they have deep sea fishing trips out of Mactan Island? I didn't have a chance to go my many times before in Cebu. Let me know the days, rates, etc. per person for the deep sea fishing trips. Thanks.
