Injury Slight

This film re-enacts the true account of ace fighter pilot Charles O'Sullivan, shot down in the jungles of New Guinea during World War II. O'Sullivan survived thirty days in the jungle, encountered a native tribe while seeking help, and was forced to fight his way out of their village when they attacked him with the intent to eat him. He was then hunted through the jungle as he made his escape from their territory. Sully finds a friendly Australian outpost and was ultimately able to return home. Fifty years later, the wreckage of O'Sullivan's plane was discovered. When he attempted to visit the wreck site, Sully learned that the story of his encounter with the tribal warriors had turned into a local legend, and still being told among the local people. Would this endanger his life should he decide to return to the village and the site of the crash. This unique documentary takes you on a journey through the Pacific War into the jungle of New Guinea, re-living one soldiers harrowing and ultimately heroic experience during World War II.

What are the sister sites ?

Here is one: http://www.rainiertamayo.com

There are others listed in threads here. Just do a search on the forums for threads with "movie" as a keyword.

Scotsbloke

I went to watch the new Star Wars film with my son on Friday, and really wanted to like it.

I thought this was a dreadful, derivative, pastiche of a film.  It was actually a film about a film and had no storyline of note and they abused actors.  Bringing out auld Carrie Fisher?  She could never act but had the saving grace of being pretty.  Not now.  Trotting out R2D2 and that skinny robot?  Beyond shite.

Star Wars was great because it had a clever script and ground-breaking special effects.  This piss-poor alias had neither.

BTW 1. The Harry Potter Franchise has absolutely gubbed this style of SF films.  The 'light sabre' fight at the end was a 'wand battle' redux.  The Big Man was a Voldemort clone.

BTW 2: The aggressive Scottish bloke would have asked for a square go had this film a scintilla of humour.

BTW 3: The wee droid is a stoater.
