Preping a goat for BBQ

Recommended Posts

Up at 5:30 am - saw a fire  just outside compound - getting ready for fiesta for deceased baby's B-day.

Goat is OK - ( no it's not - it was dead - meant taste is OK) - just not a lot of meat and rather expensive in restos

kambing is a bit more expensive than other meats but not that much more. It averages about 180-200 a kilo. They don''t usually have it just like that in most markets, but they can always get it very easily. They never say no sir we don't do it. They can almost always get it, but you have to order it the day before and so it would be silly to order less than minimum 1 kilo. I usually get 2 kilos.

kambing is more widely available and more likely to be stocked routinely in markets in Mindanao than elsewhere as less pork is eaten there.
