https://www.translatorscafe.com/cafe/

You can post a job there if you decide you want to have a professional translator available.  Rates tend to be very inexpensive.

I ended up hiring Jed Segovia ([email protected]) after posting a sample (sample that I already understood of course, not just a direct, without context, word for word translation) and asking for a translation and quote for some ongoing, ad-hoc work.

I found Jed to be very responsive and he really took the time to try and understand the context as well as being able to decipher messaging shorthand / abbreviations and the mix of english/tagalog/bisayan, etc.

Money well spent, and not a lot of money either.

One can. But I think the native speaker did a perfect job. Can't beat the price either.

*shrug*  That's nice.

I'd guess that you misinterpreted my input - it had nothing to do with that interpretation.  It had everything to do with the fact that it could be awkward or uncomfortable to ask for (and get) a public translation at some point in the future.  That's all.

Keep your cell private.. and be careful of your trust... never bring ANYONE to your house... i can guarantee you bring to your house ?..TAKE SOME TIME..you will regret
Make up your mind... you ARE alone here..meet and spend time elsewhere.. even hotels..

be careful; of trust.. you ain't in Kansas anymore ...drunk is worst.. I know this..
keep your own close and do not share.. share it elsewhere until you KNOW... I wish someone had told me that
Good luck... I kinda see you are a good guy... I think you will be ok.. don't dismiss advice tho... not just mine... easy to get sucked in here
As my experience says...lol

Yeah, but you're married. It IS a whole different world.

Then again, if you bring a GF home, you may regret it for a long time.
