You can watch the lava flows at night from several safe viewing points. I did with a Filipino family in 2009 and it was one of the highlights of my Philippines experiences that trip.

I have seen smoke coming out the top a few times, never have seen it erupt.  I remember some japs got killed a few years ago climbing when it had a small eruption.

Anyone on this forum live in Legazpi City or Tabaco City?  I have spent a little time in those cities.

First time back on this forum in two years. Didn't like the negative comments people were directing at others back then. I did 5 in the quote section until you messaged me. I saw where you reply now.  I see it has improved here on the forum and hope it continues.
