Noise is one of the biggest causes of high blood pressure, and of course hearing loss.

Noisy dogs and roosters can raise the blood pressure. Music soothes the soul!

They tend to 'feel' the music, 'anything' that makes a noise, the louder the better!!! Loud dogs, loud roosters, loud motorbikes, loud music, particularly at night, have I missed anything?

What people who do not have damaged hearing don't understand is that extremely loud noise can cause physical pain for many of us. I cannot remain anywhere here there are huge speakers blaring away at full volume. The pain in my ears is sharp, and quickly drives me away. I simply cannot understand why Filipinos also crank the speakers up to the max when the sound is almost always much clearer at a lower volume.
