  4. Comparison update from 15 hrs ago and now 75,778 total 2,130 deaths 16917 recoveries I've been thinking of just doing the evening update once a day here and hope that will be fine with everyone.. if not let me know.. I'm trying to not desensitize this but mostly interested in how it's progressing and if there's going to be real progress to fight it .

  6. Agree.. and they have published maximums for each 'diagnosis.. I think they call it Case Based Maximums.. or something like that. So a broken collar bone will get you reimbursed to the maximum for that diagnosis, irrespective if you are in cheapest hospital in town or most expensive.
  7. Do remember Continental Congress and Articles of Confederation being very briefly mentioned as an initial draft.

The Many US Presidents Before George Washington

That is true. There was no executive branch (nor legislative branch or judicial branch) until after the Constitution was ratified and the first election held (in which George Washington became the first POTUS). I just thought it was interesting. If this stuff was taught in US History, then somehow I missed it (and I'm a history buff).
  9. You need to realize that Philhealth is a supplement, not a full insurance. They only pay for specific things, and then only so much. Don't expect them to cover all of your bills while you are in the hospital.
  10. Thinking about make the tilt point about where the front wheel is and then have a swivel point there, then an extra ramp is not needed the bike is only about 150 kg
  11. I actually made a carrier some 40 years ago for my Suzuki TS 185 in Australia. (cannot find the photo).... Still lookin.. I added two more tow tounges/or receivers (whatever you like to call them) at each END of a standard tow bar (got them welded on professionally). Then sat a piece of "U" channel between the THREE , Fitted a STEADY BAR using in my case the bolts for the tailgate lock to keep bike upright and straps around rims. added lights/indicators and number plate.. Worked a treat. And if you already have a towbar fitted (as i did) Cheap.. Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk
  12. You could probably have a machine shop make one of those up. If your bike is light enough, you might not bother with the ramp/hinge action, just a trough across the back. Lift the front wheel into the trough and lock it down, the lift the rear in. Then you don't have to rely entirely on the receiver and can have bars to the frame at each end.
  13. no not yet I want to put the bike on back the landy, when I take the car to TRI-J, then I can just take the bike back home Stupid habel-habel asked 350 piso to take me home (5 km) ( now not an invitation to go off topic in this thread) learnt now to ask price first Had to leave the car there cause they have problems finding good front disks/rotors
  14. Does the Landry have a hitch receiver and what is its rated capacity? What if you're towing it because of a flat rear tire or damaged rear suspension? Unless you plan to haul it a lot, will it fit inside?
  15. or maybe this is the way to go ??? another one
  16. Something like this one would be fine for my little bike
  17. Yep look at traffic / hold up hand - even in marked crosswalk - eventually one will stop - that's a 4 + lane road there - make sure next car also sees you / stops - getting the first one to stop is the trick but always be careful of motor drivers who will try to simply go around / between them. I use a flashlight with strobe when crossing at night - not pointed at them but in between us - they see it
  18. Now now.. If you do that again people will begin to call you .. maldita !!
  19. Over xmas my wife and myself stayed at Horizon 101 in Mango Ave whicH always busy the crossing outside there I noticed people putting their hand up the cars stopped and let pedestrans cross we did that many times waved to the driver who waved back.
  20. I used to ride a Vincent Black Shadow. Raced a Vincent around Mallory Park UK. But age and common sense stepped in. We have a Honda XRM just for popping down to the swimming pool. But apart from that we have a decent car. Driving here is so bad your percentages of an accident must be way higher. I was in LTO on Tuesday and ask what the test requirements were for licence. They said drive into the front exit of LTO and back out of the second gate. Do this twice and you pass!
  21. It is actually a good idea. Just a crap waterfall. The reason it is a good idea is purely from a local stand point. It creates jobs and there are so many tour buses and what not turning up there on a daily basis it is a smart move. The did it here in Mumbukal. You need to hire a guide to take you up to the 13 waterfalls ( many which stretch the imagination on what actually a waterfall is)
  22. wayyyy tooo much 16.000 + 16.800 = 32.800 16.800 to Talisay A stainless bull bar I can get for 3500 installed
  23. I kind of like the bittersweet now of traveling....The obvious lurking virus being the bitter but the sweet part I like you said is the ferry's being half full and from my experience the airports are not congested with all the foreigner/native travelers...
  24. So she's allergic to hairy dogs, but certainly not 'Hot dogs or Hamburgers! This is BS and disrespects others travellers
  25. Nope, nothing that stood out. Quite a few Westerners on the trip to Ormoc, less on the return trip. What does stand out is how many vacant seats there are overall. Not sure if this is usual, but 7:45 am Cebu-Ormoc and 1:45pm Ormoc-Cebu not even half full.
  26. Lazada about P22,000 including delivery Motorcycle carrier hitch mount hitch receiver 200kg capacity SR SR Performance Rear Basket Carrier Single Hitch Flat / Basket Type Universal 220 Kg capacity - P8000 delivery not shown

Good morning! I recall that you mentioned that you were thinking of having solar panels installed at your house on Camotes. Did this happen and can you please tell me where you got your  solar panels from?
My wife and I have a house on Camotes and we are interested in installing solar panels on our roof.
      Thank you in advance!
