Expensive Banca 4.6M --- Why?

Party boat is the key word, you can triple the price for a party boat.

For the money... a nice Catamaran or monohull would probably be better than banca strictly speaking boating performance---however the Banca is a pinoy craft  that fits in anywhere.. doesnt raise eyebrows or garner to much unwanted attention.  Finding a good boatsman /captain to run and maintain the craft would be much easier as well.

security of the craft and cost of maintenance is biggie..   I am just digging into what it would cost to keep her in good running order and always ready to go.    How much do you think it would cost to maintain a high end Banca as pictured?

A big banca like that is going to attract attention wherever you take it. That level of equipment demands 24 hour security and a full time "knowledgable" maintenance crew.

If you want some real world info about maintaining a boat like that contact Joonas at the Queen X harbour in Moalboal. His manager there is Richard who is very easy to get on with. She is a 105ft banka, but it was a nightmare to build and certify.

She is out of the water at the moment, but talk to Joonas, he might be amenable to having a partner.

NOw that boat would attract a lot of attention !    looks like  the CSS Merrimac (Virgina)  of the Monitor battle ..
