Let's stay on topic before I start banning people for pushing the issue here.

Page 4 of repeating yourself. Is it getting old yet?

It's page 3. If you don't wish to read it, then don't load the thread.

Screwing with me about this would not be in your best interest.

As long as people need clarity, I will give it to them.

No, this isn't really the correct thread to do that in. However, I will address one thing you stated.

This forum is not now, nor has it ever been hosted on a server located within 6,000 miles of, or anywhere in the Philippines. Since it's inception, this website has always been hosted on a server located in or around the Dallas / Fort Worth area of Texas, in the USA. About one to one and a half years ago, I did relocate it to a new server, elsewhere in the US. Honestly, I do not recall which state the current server is even located in. It doesn't take much for anyone to find out, though.

Good plan! Having it hosted outside the Philippines is good for both legal and technical reasons. I'm not so sure hosting anything in the US is a great idea either but that *IS* a political question and one I do not want to get into here. In any case, you are doing the work and paying for the hosting, you can host it wherever you want. Thank you again for doing so.

There are many forums on the World Wide Web that cover international politics and USA military matters...
for those who need to keep up with that.

Paul's forum is about living in Cebu and the Philippines It's mainly concerned with:

(a) any newbie questions that expat members can help with.

(b) sharing info with other expats about daily life here in Cebu

© understanding Philippine people and their culture

(d) discussion and opinions about topics relevant to living and retiring here. :good:

.

Thank God! My thoughts exactly. :yahoo:

Last time I looked, Cebu was in fact part of the Philippines, so that some what negates your comment.

I suggest that you look at the myriad of forum topics that have been provided for members to add to and discuss.
It is not limited to the few that you mention, it would be a boring forum and fail in a short time if it was.

That is how I see it, but I have been known to be wrong :)

Negates what comment?: " Paul's forum is about living in Cebu and the Philippines".

I respectively suggest that you read the Whole Post so that it can be taken as a whole and not out of context.
Not just being selective as you have here and many other of your posts on this forum.

And, let's all stay in order in my thread, while we are at it.

I would suggest, for those who haven't done so, make it a point to read from post number 1 in this thread.

Excellent advice.

I agree. Consider it dropped. As for political discussions, my approach to handling them for now on is not to. I'm no longer getting involved in them, period. Consider the channel permanently changed.
