Wow, my PC got a virus from reading the BS on that page.  The guys that wrote that could provide training to the political spin doctors.  OMG!!  You can hear the crocodile tears dripping from the author as he writes.....

Ooooooo, woah are we.....it's hot on the bus because it's hot outside, sniff, and we can't control that, snif sniff, and we can't provide AC because it's a bus and we have to open the door.......and the environment would be destroyed....and we're trying to save you money....and sniff because our windows are irregularly shaped and wa wa waaaaahhhhhh.  And you should wear a hat.

July 6, 2012, was the last time Chicago had a triple-digit temperatures.

There have only been 5 triple-digit temperatures in the last 18 years.

In the 21st century, there have only been 2 years that had a triple-digit temperature.

Chicago's official all-time high temperature of 105 (University of Chicago) was set July 24 1934. It was 109 at Midway, the highest temperature ever recorded at a Chicago location (but Midway was not the official observatory for Chicago in 1934).
