You do realize there are 100s of topics on this subject most recently 30 days ago.  I would recommend you use the search feature as many are not going to repost the same info over again.  Thus you can get a good answer to your question.

My answer is a dollar more than you think.  Most will say between $2,000-$2,500 USD to live comfortably and much less to survive.  All depends on vices and lifestyle.  That is with rent.  However renting a nice place in the city for $800 was in my figures.

I assume since you said allowance you are talking about Filipino and not a Westerner.

I sponsor a niece in college in Ormoc and I send $80 to $100 every two weeks in addition to money for tuition and books which is usually quarterly. My wife says that is more than enough for her and by looking at her Facebook post she is comfortable, well fed and well dressed well.

What's your allowance every month for your RC toys?

For you only or + 1 more? What kind of a lifestyle do you want?

That may be more than enough in the PH. :idontknow:

If you are talking a GF not a livein GF/wife/fiance.  Zero is a good amount.  You owe her nothing.  Otherwise it sounds like someone on retainer for future services.

I think i should have explained it better

The  care taker of one of our house in philppines

Are getting older now

They have been living taking care of that house for a long time

I dont want to just throw them out

Since they dont have any kids or family

Im planning to retire them and just live on that maids house

I figured they will need food etc.
