Hope it's legit.   Bad enough that most Filipinos don't know how to drive let alone text / talk at the same time.

But it is like everything else here in the PI.

They think that by making a law, that will fix the issue.

No thought is given to enforcing the laws :(

That is unless the offence is committed by a foreigner :yahoo:

It is easier and safer to put on your blinker, pull over and take the call!

Not when you're a bus driver with 70 angry passengers upset at the delay. Happens all the time in China, same law and worse, you see traffic police driving and txting, once saw a police car with a portable TV on the dashboard, so why would the average citizen worry about any law?

It would be just super amazing if they came up with a turn signal app for cell phones!   But in the PI's I am sure they will only have a horn app.

Some time ago, cannot be too long as I do not remember much, one of the manufacturers came up with technology that would disable cell phones when moving.  I am sure no manufacturer wanted to be the first to introduce it. Will have to be mandated by the Gov which will develop a thriving business in disabling the feature.

Might as well look it up
