I have a 12 unit apartment

I can say its an easy money income for me

But its getting on the way of the things i want to do

Like right now i wwanted to spend the holidays in phils.

But i cant cause of this apartment

Plus someone moved out and have to fixed it and rent it out again

If you sell, you pay some big tax's and pick up a bit of interest on what is left.  If you turn it over to a management company how much would you make?  I don't want to know how much you will make, just a comparison.

Regardless of how much you sell it for, once it is gone, it is gone. 

Personally, I would keep the apartment building. Don't get lazy. If you need to fix up an apartment after someone moves out and don't want to do it yourself, sub it out. 

 

Besides, from what I know about your last trip to the Philippines, it wasn't exactly profitable for you - as you recall?

And how much could you get if you sold your property, paid all taxes and then split the rest into something for growth and something like an immediate annuity which would be like a pension for as long as you live, maybe something else to think about.

for sure wait till next year to see if there are changes in the taxes in the usa..... not all property management are the same... a property management bought my townhome in the usa and they spent plently telling the new owner they could rent for 1,300 month only to get 900 a month ... the property management were also in the rehab of houses business ... hummmmm
