  1. Highway to helll....... haha.... it's a good song anyway
  2. Me too Woolf, my soldering iron and multi-meter are always within reach.... as I said before I am a hardware guy.... brought up on vacuum tubes..... There is never a shortage of people needing something repaired ...... Not for money, but because I still love the challenge.
  3. Hey Woolf.....And then my Netflix got screwed LOL..... The cyber lord is pickin' on me, I can't imagine why! Just got an error message saying "this title can't be played" bla bla......... After ratting around on google and YouTube for an answer... with no real answers, only lots of people with the same issue, I took the bull by the horns and restored my smart tv (the problem was only with my TV) back to factory settings....... and guess what, it fixed it, so all in all I had a good cyber day..
  4. Yes woolf..... the number when I had the trouble was ....., now it is
  5. Well, this is really a learning curve for me... I am more of a hardware kind of guy LOL. I am very pleased to report that having taken the advice of Woolf my problem seems to have been resolved...... YAY. I turned off my router/modem for the night and turned it on this morning...... and "knock me down with a feather" the problem site was back up and running. Thanks to all who took the trouble to chip in with advice and knowledge.... luv ya'll
  6. I'll let you know what PLDT say Woolf......... I appreciate your insights here.
  7. Why has this just suddenly happened Woolf? ...... I've had the same router and provider for a long time.
  8. Yes Woolf, they are both on the same network from my common router
  9. But the problem is on both of my computers, Stay tuned Skywalker...... will update you tomorrow after I restart my router
  10. I'll see if I can get any sense out of PLDT...... but not very optomistic....... You know what it's like here haha
  11. Ok Skywalker, I'll try turning it off overnight, I'll also ask PLDT about changing my IP add. I've been using this IP for 18mnths and it's been fine...... WT* LOL
  12. Thanks for the insight Woolf....... the site is not actually blocked, it's just that I can't make any changes....... I would prefer to get to the bottom of the problem.... my connection is only 1.5mb and a VPN will slow it right down I think. It's been fine for more than 18mnths.
  13. I teach English online (Skype) which works very well. Here's the problem: The website I use to report my classes and mark students attendance won't allow me to update anything. I am able to access the site and search students, but it doesn't allow me to make any entries. I have 2 laptops here and the problem is on both of them. However, If I hotspot my cellphone to my laptop and use my Globe sim the problem is not present. My house provider is PLDT and it seems clear to me that the problem is somehow to do with PLDT. Will changing my IP adress somehow fix this?............ I'm at a loss and I don't want to talk to PLDT for obvious reasons I am appealing to all of the experts here for advice. Thanks in advance guys (gals)
  14. I recently bought one in Gaisano Fiesta. in Tabunok, Talisay... really nice ring to it when tapped.
  15. Here you go ...... most of the British BBC and ITV .... all free http://uktvfree.com/
