  1. If he is a former former rmember doesn't that make him a member?
  2. This is the second post on here about members of the PNP obtaining money from foreign businessmen ,both involving murder, is this because the income from drug money is drying up?
  3. You have my sympathy ,it can be hard to understand ,not just Filipinos, but people in general sometimes. Knowing how people here can be very shy at meeting "foreigners" is it possible they are shy/nervous at the idea of meeting so many of your friends/family at one time in a setting that they may not feel comfortable in?
  4. Particularly if it is about an Ex Wife getting shot
  5. The roads are always worse after a lot of rain
  6. I renewed my Passport last year and enquired at Mandaue BI as to how to have the visa stamp tranferred (13A permanent) . It can now only be done in Manila along with the last date of entry stamp. I to thought it was a lot of hassle just for a stamp so asked the question, what difference does it make as the visa is still valid even if the old Passport is expired. The answer was that the only time it would make a difference is if I wanted to leave the country ,the old passport is expired so the Stamp must be transferred for it to be valid.
  7. I have a new passport and was told at BI Mandaue that the Visa stamp can only be tranferred by Manila.
  8. I have TM and was recently losing around 10 pesos load per day. I eventualy found that it was texts from 2626 that were costing me,so I texted stop and problem solved.
  9. Be fair "Installed and working " but only working for a short time
  10. After every flight, UPS pilots fill out a form, called a "gripe sheet" which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are actual maintenance complaints submitted by UPS pilots ("P") and solutions recorded ("S") by maintenance engineers: P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement. S: Almost replaced left inside main tire. P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough. S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft. P: Something loose in cockpit S: Something tightened in cockpit P: Dead bugs on windshield. S: Live bugs on back-order. P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground. P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear. S:evidence removed. P: DME volume unbelievably loud. S: DME volume set to more believable level. P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick. S: That's what friction locks are for. P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode. S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode. P: Suspected crack in windshield. S: Suspect you're right. P: Number 3 engine missing. S: Engine found on right wing after brief search. P: Aircraft handles funny. S: Aircraft warned to: straighten up, fly right, and be serious. P: Target radar hums. S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics. P: Mouse in cockpit. S: Cat installed. P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer. S: Took hammer away from midget
  11. I had much the same experience,I managed to pick up a 2 stroke for 5500 pesos in Bogo that so far does the trick for me.
  12. Ace Hardware SM City had some last month when I was there, but like many things in the Phils maybe not now lol.
  13. If its a 13a by Marriage you turn up on the day with your wife and have quite a relaxed chat with a Lady who works in the same office as Alice. The Lady is an Attorney,I believe, who will talk to you and your wife to satisfy herself that you are a genuine couple. Then for me she covered various requirements related to having a 13a should you wish to travel overseas plus other procedures for an immigrant such as the annual report
  14. Sounds like a good idea and they could call them something like Premium Economy
  15. The Joint affidavit is not needed for the first ( probationery year) only your marriage certificate.Maybe you are looking at the wrong requirements. Your wife is the petitioner.
