  1. I don't think you have posted a date yet, Tony? If so, I missed it in the thread.
  2. I forget how many hours each ride was, that I estimated for Lars, now. But, he wanted to just tool along. So, I imagine it was at least a two or three day trip - maybe more. Unfortunately, while I remember creating the post, the details have been forgotten over the years. I'm in hopes the roadway on that side of the island is in much better shape now, than years gone past. I - and I am sure Larry too, can remember some pretty shitty stretches of road, along the provincial highway. But, those trips around were some good times. Incidentally, the worst roads I ever encountered, were from the northwest side of the island, back south, toward Toledo. Definitely the worst in the entire province, back then.
  3. If anyone remember's Lars' username, please let me know. That would be one way to search for that thread.
  4. Tony, several years ago, I did a write up for a member, detailing the trip around the entire island for him. It included places to stop along the way. While some of the stops may have changed hands or closed, the basic route has not changed. If you, or one of the search gurus on the site are willing to look for it, it may behoove you to give it a read. It was for a member who was from Norway. I don't recall his username right off, though. If headed North from Moalboal, through Barili, you would start on the Carcar-Barili Road. You would turn left upon reaching the Mantalongon Public Market, on the mountain. The road is on the left, just as you are coming up to the main market building, on the right side of the road. It isn't a huge intersection - doubtful it has gotten any larger. The last time I took that route, that stretch, between Mantalongon and Aloguinsan, was under construction. So, it should be good in spots now, and about need of more repairs in others.
  5. What's the shortest time to book a flight?
  6. You are probably talking about Mr. A's?
  7. @Davaoeno, when you quote a source that uses monetization links, please remove them prior to posting the reply here.
  8. By ground floor, I actually meant a single floor dwelling. I do not feel comfortable above the second floor, really.
  9. I prefer a ground floor. Then, you don't need one of those!
  10. I prefer Vegemite over Marmite. It seemed, to me anyway, Vegemite was more common in Australia, while I found Marmite easier to come by in New Zealand. I like 'em both, okay, though. You do realize, @miles-high, there are alternative uses for these products, right? Shine up Chrome / Aluminum wheels on your car. When changing your oil, mix some with mineral spirits and flush your engine. Wax your car's paint job with it.
